[I got to this via a link in cluebyfour's journal]

I think exploring abandoned structures is an interesting pastime, but sometimes you can find things that you regret seeing abandoned. The warehouse this guy gets to describing later in this account pushes that button for me more than anything else I've personally seen.

That pushes more than one button methinks. :^(

It's sad, but that first photo made me think of a circle of thorns map *facepalm*

I shame myself

The shame will be when you force your siblings to travel there to do some kind of LARP thing amidst the mouldering school supplies. :3

In Minneapolis, my friends and I would explore the old grain mills along the Mississippi river, and the storm drains (read: sewers) that connected them. I have a lot of fond, and a handful of scary/stupid memories from that time.

Noisy, I'm just stopping by because I was curious if you want to be a moderator on championsonline. You've contributed there more than most.

Well, sure an' it's a foin idea... but I'm afraid it's a bit of a gamble since it has two strikes against it.

One is that I recently decided (when I had a lot of excess pondering time due to a week-long power outage) that I was spending too much time theorizing and talking about games that are in the control of strangers, so I have mostly cut that out. The other is precedent... I contributed more than most to rgtr while it was in beta but, as I didn't continue playing after it went live, I disappeared from that comm.

So, if you are looking for an active hand, you are probably one power outage too late. :3
